Vero supports most formats of professional audio and video:

Audio:

- A Sample rate of 48 kHz or 44.1 kHz in the following formats.

- MPEG 1 Layer II / III to 64 Kbps mono and 128 Kbps, 192 Kbps and 256 Kbps stereo.

- PCM (uncompressed linear audio).

Video:

- DVSD used by Adobe Premier as generic DV codec.

- DV25, SMPTE 314M 25MB/s compressed video. Professional DV. Uses a 4:1:1 sampling structure.

- DV50 SMPTE 314M 50Mb/s compressed video. Is half the ratio of data (50Mbits/sec) of "DV25" and uses a 4:2:2 sampling structure.

- MJPEG, Motion JPEG video.

- MMES, Matrox MPEG-2 Video, MPEG-2 I-frame, etc.

- MPEG4 (H263 and H264)
